Are knowledgable consumers of legal services a good thing?

My partner and I have started blawgs to impart information to the public - whether they are or clients or not. The information contained in the Blawgs serves two purposes: marketing and spreding information. It is our position is that the more our clients know (and perhaps the more our adversaries know), the better we can communicate to and represent our clients. We also believe that educating the public advises them of the need to be represented in many situations.
